Simone Tsyrulnik is a 3rd grader at Samuel Staples Elementary School in Easton Connecticut. She loves many forms of music including classical as well as pop. Simone started playing piano when she was four years old and currently plays as both a solo artist as well as part of a duet with her twin brother, David. Her love for music extends to her school activities as well: playing the glockenspiel in the school percussion band. Simone’s favorite subjects in school are math, reading, and writing. She is an avid writer of both fiction and non-fiction essays. In addition to piano, Simone loves ballet: she participated in The Nutcracker ballet performance of three years in roles that include angel, arc-angel, mouse, and harold.
