Khushi is a ninth-grader at Dublin High School. She started piano at 9 years old and has loved music ever since. In her free time, she loves to compose her own songs and sing as well. She has participated in the National Guild of Music Teachers test for 4 years and has been participating in CM tests as well. For the CM test of 2020, she was selected for the CA State Honors and Branch Honors as well as being invited to participate in the annual CM Convention in LA. Last year, she participated in the MTAC Baroque Festival and received 2nd place and this year, she received 1st. She has also competed in the 2020 North California Young Talents competition and won 1st place. In 2018, she took part in a local competition hosted by Immaginn and won 2nd place for her music composition and received a prize of $250.
Last Christmas, as a heartwarming gesture, she and a few other fellow pianists went to the Walnut Creek senior retirement center to entertain and play for the elderly. Outside of piano, she's a 3nd degree Black Belt in martial arts and enjoys playing sports such as football and volleyball. In addition, she is part of her high school choir and enjoys singing, performing and developing music skills. Overall, Khushi is extremely zealous about music and looks forward to making a career out of her music passion.
