Gardiner Grace Dietrich is an 11 year old 5th grader attending
Sidwell Friends School in Washington D.C. She began piano at 6
and has been studying with Yoshie Akimoto, Steinway Artist,
for the last two years online including once a month in Connecticut.
In 2019 at age 10 Gardiner debuted with Young Talent Chamber
Music at Steinway Hall in New York City. In 2018 she won first prize
at the Festival Audition of the Connecticut State Music Teachers
Association and 2nd prize in the French Award of the Schubert Club
of Fairfield County. In 2016, 2017, 2018 she received the Music Fest
Grand Prix and the Grand Prize.
Gardiner loves her piano lessons and trips to Connecticut. She loves
school, riding her bike, reading books, time with her friends and
with her loving cat, Mr. Wuffles.
