Amitesh Verma, 17, from Cincinnati in Ohio, is an avid music aficionado who has been playing piano for the past 10 years. He has received accolades in piano competitions, including the NOMTA Sonata Contest three years in a row. Additionally, he has received honors including First Class Honors with Distinction in the Royal Conservatory of Music's Theory I, II, and III. Outside of piano, Amitesh enjoys conducting his school's marching band as the Drum Major. In addition, Amitesh plays piano for the Zender Senders Jazz Quartet, a student-led ensemble that plays gigs around the town.
