Aleksander Korczagin was born in 2006 in Northallerton, UK. He started his musical education at the age of six. He is now a cello student at the Karol Szymanowski Secondary School of Music in Wroclaw, Poland under a supervision of prof. Anna Berny-Stocka. He has received many awards as a cello soloist and chamber ensemble musician. His achievements include 1st prize at the 7th Chrzanow Meetings of Young Instrumentalists (2016), 3rd prize at the Young Cellists Competition in Wroclaw (2019), 2nd prize at the 5th Leon Szymlowski Cello Competition in Warsaw (2019), 2nd prize at the18th Chamber Music Competition «My musical inspirations» in Naleczow (2017).
