Adam Lin
Adam Lin plays both the piano and violin. He started with piano at the age of 4. Later, he began playing the violin at age 7 under the instruction of Ms. Eunhee Kim. He is a two-time Satori International Strings Competition winner in addition to receiving the Grand Prize in 7th grade, performing Fritz Kreisler’s “Praeludium and Allegro”. In 8th grade he received 1st place in the Southwestern Youth Music Festival for performing Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 4, and was also first chair violinist in Pacific Symphony Santiago Strings. In 9th grade, he studied the violin in Taiwan under the direction of the National Symphony Orchestra’s concertmaster, Ting-Yu Wu. As a sophomore in high school, he is currently a member of the Pacific Symphony Youth Orchestra and won the First place of American Protege International Concerto Competition, also won the MTAC panel finalist.
