Jessica Ma, eight years old from Leawood, Kansas, started to play piano at the age of four. She has been under Ms. Ying-Yu Emily Yeh’s tutelage since 2018. Jessica was named the 2nd place winner from Mid-America Music Festival Piano Competitive and also awarded Runner-Up from Kansas Music Teachers Association Honors Competition in 2019. She has participated in Kansas City Music Teachers Association Fall Festival and received the Highest Honors with Special Merit in 2019 and 2017. In 2017, Jessica received a superior rating from both the National Federation of Music Clubs Junior Festival and KCMTA Achievement Auditions. Besides piano, Jessica also loves taekwondo.
