Hanbie Park
Hanbie Park, a freshman at Phillips Academy Andover in Massachusetts, began the musical journey at the age of three with the piano, and later developed her talents with the cello.
Hanbie has been a winner or earned recognition in numerous competitions including the Music Teachers National Association State Performance Competition, International Music Competition ""Vienna"" Grand Prize Virtuoso, Crescendo International Competition, and the Alabama Music Teachers Association Pre-College Concerto Competition.
She also enjoys being an ensemble member of the Boston Youth Symphony under Music Director Federico Cortese, since 2017. In the summer of 2018, she attended the Bach Fest at Leipzig, Germany with the Boston Youth Symphony.
She performed at Carnegie Hall with the Dvořák Cello Concerto 2019.
When she is not playing the cello, she enjoys drawing, reading fantasy novels, and listening to modern music.
