Colton Checchi is 12 years old and attends 7th grade at the Harvard-Westlake School in Los Angeles. Colton began playing piano at the age of 8 years old, and he is currently enrolled in lessons at the Ory Shihor Institute. His favorite composers include Chopin, Beethoven, Mozart and Debussy. In 2020, he was awarded second prize in the Great Composers Competition Series' "Best Bach Performance". More recently, Colton started playing the clarinet in addition to piano.
