Claire Doh, age 13, is an 8th grader at Odle Middle School in Bellevue, WA. She began piano studies at age 5 & cello studies at age 7. Since then Claire has received several awards in Solo and Concerto sections in the Performing Arts Festival of the Eastside (PAFE) and the Seal of Recognition in Complete Program in the Seattle Young Artists Music Festival (SYAMF). Furthermore, she has been selected as a member of the Jr. All State Orchestra for the past 2 years. Claire has also distinguished herself in a string quartet, Sinfonia Quartet for 1.5 years, participating in several local events. Presently, she is in her 4th year with Bellevue Youth Symphony Orchestra. She is principal cello of her school’s orchestra and enjoys playing music with her friends.
