Fifteen year old Jade Anderson lives in Alameda, California and has been playing piano for ten years focusing on Classical (solo and ensemble), Jazz, and Ragtime. In 2015 Jade was among the pianist who joined Lang Lang on stage for his "101 Pianist" performance at Sonoma State University. In 2019 she won the Holy Names Concerto Competition and performed Kabalevsky's Piano Concerto No 3, Op 50 with the Festival Orchestra. For Ragtime, in 2017 Jade won the West Coast Ragtime Youth Competition and was invited to a master class at that year's festival. in 2018, at age 13, she became one of the youngest performers invited to perform all three days of the festival and returned this past year. Jade is currently a freshman at Sacred Heart Prep in Atherton, CA and performs in her school's Jazz Band.
