When Aya was 6 years old, she was selected to be in a non profit charity event called Kidz for a Cause and played in a fundraising concert for the Kids Justice Center playing piano and singing, “Let it go” at the Hawaii Theater on a Grand Piano. Aya studies piano with Mr. Steven Casano at Punahou school. At 10 years of age, Aya entered her first piano competition 2019 Steinway Junior Piano Competition and received 1st Place. In March 2020, Aya received 1st Prize for International Music Competition Best Chopin Performance from Great Composers Competition. She also received 1st Prize for International Music Competition Best Bach Performance from Great Composers Competition, Rising Talents of World she received First Prize in June 2020. She continues to enjoy piano, violin and dance.
