Anastasia Joy Catanus, 9, was born in Chicago and currently resides in Southern California. She started playing the cello at the age of 5 and is a student of Laszlo Mezo. She is a prizewinner in the Great Composers Competition and Satori Music Competition, and has received first place honors in the Little Mozarts International Competition. She is a student in her school district's Alternative Program for Academically Advanced Students, and enjoys reading and creating. Anastasia loves to play her cello and hopes to bring joy to others through her music.
