Nicky Ahn, from Shaker Heights, Ohio, is a student of Cynthia Crotty. He is a 1st Prize winner at the Golden Classical Music Awards in the 2018 and 2019 Competitions and was awarded the Exceptional Young Musician Award. He was also a winner in the 2019 American Protege Competition, and a semi-finalist at the 2019 Carmel Klavier International Piano Competition. He has twice been awarded a Unanimous Superior Rating by the National Federation of Music Festivals, and earned a Superior Plus/ Top Talent Circle rating in his International Piano Guild Audition in 2018 and 2019.
