Kostadin Koshnicharov was born in 2008 in Burgas, Bulgaria.
Started learning piano at age 6 with his current teacher Yulia Nenova. In 2015 he was accepted at National School of Music and Arts “Prof. Pancho Vladigerov” in Burgas.
Over the years he won many awards including Special prize at the International Festival “Artship” in Pomorie, Bulgaria; Special prize at the International Festival “Misho Todorov”, Sliven, Bulgaria; Third Prize at X International Piano Competition “Hristina Morfova in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria; First prize at National Competition of young performers “Music of Europe” in Burgas, Bulgaria; First prize at II International Virtual Competition “Flying Stage”; First prize at V International Competition of musicians-performers and teachers “Technique and Style"" in Burgas, Bulgaria.
Last year he won Second prize in Best Mozart Performance Competition, First prize in The Music of Mediterranean Europe, First prize in The Music of Germany&Austria competitions and Second prize in Best Debussy Performance at Great composers Competitions.
Over the years Kostadin has participated in master classes of Ivan Donchev, Svetlana Caras and Yuri Bogdanov.
At the age of eight Kostadin was twice soloist at the school chamber orchestra under the guidance of Petya Toncheva. At the age of twelve he made his debut with the orchestra of State Opera Burgas under the baton of Tsanislav Petkov.
Kostadin is a true admirer of opera and symphonic art and uses every opportunity to attend performances at the Opera of his city and travels to see and hear favorite pieces throughout the country and Europe.
Apart from his love for music he is passionate about ancient history and astronomy.
