Kacper Solarz


Kacper Solarz was born in 2003 in Jaworzno, Poland. He is a graduate of Grażyna Bacewicz State Music School of 1st degree (violin class by Marzenna Synowiec). At present a student of the Karol Szymanowski State Secondary Music School of 2nd degree in Katowice - violin class by professor Adam Wagner and also by professor Agata Szymczewska.

The young musician is the laureate of many awards as a soloist at national and international violin competitions in Wieliczka, Warsaw, Wrocław, Poznań, Katowice, Jasło, Nałęczów, Kraków, Legnica, Zielona Góra, Sochaczew, Płock, Toruń, Stalowa Wola, Ostrava and Dolny Kubin.
Kacper was an active participant and a scholar of the 22nd Morningside Music Bridge 
in Warsaw in 2018, where he was given a great opportunity to work with the best violinists 
and professors from all over the world. He was also awarded with the „Young Poland 2019” grand from the Polish  Minister of Culture and National Heritage, for the most talented young artists. 
Up till now he has been training and participating in several other violin workshops (in Łańcut, Lusławice, Kołobrzeg, Łeba and Goch/Germany) in order to develop his skills. He was a participant of the Zenon Brzewski International Music Courses in Łańcut in 2014-2019 (attended the masterclass of prof. Agata Szymczewska). He was a triple representative of the masterclass at the Ball Room in Łańcut Castle. He was also a concertmaster of the younger string orchestra under the baton of Wojciech Rodek (2015). Kacper was an active participant and a scholar of International Academy called Stringtime NiederRhein in Goch, Germany (2015, 2018, 2019) and took part in Master Artistic Education Programme - Lusławice Talent Orchestra (2015-2016) fulfilled by Krzysztof Penderecki European Centre for Music in Lusławice. As a laureate of many music competitions he took part  in the concert  with a klezmer  group  KROKE  in Jaworzno (2015). He gave a solo performance with Archetti - Jaworzno Chamber Orchestra, at the concert hall of  Academy  of  Music  in  Katowice  within  XXVII  International  Festival of Young Laureates of Music Competitions organized by IPIUM SILESIA (2017).

He has also been  a member of the Penderecki Youth Orchestra since 2018 – the string orchestra for the most talented young  Polish  musicians,  fulfilled by Krzysztof  Penderecki  European  Centre  for  Music in Lusławice.

 He’s been a scholar  of the  President of  Jaworzno (2014 - 2020) in the field of art 
and a scholar of Polish Children’s Fund (2017-2020).
