Sky Wen
Sky Wen, age 10, is a violinist in the studio of Elizabeth Faidley in New York. Sky has won numerous competitions and performed solo internationally, including Lalo Symphonie Espagnol with an orchestra after winning First Prize in an international Music Organization New York Concerto competition, and performed at prestigious venues such as NYC's Lincoln Center, Salzburg Cathedral, Saint Stephen's Cathedral in Vienna, and in Budapest.
She has also performed in masterclasses with Augustin Hadelich, Rachel Barton Pine, Stefan Jackiw, and Carolyn Widmann. In 2018, Sky was awarded First Prize of the East Coast International Competition, and also won a top prize at ENKOR Competition with judges from 73 countries.
When Sky is not playing violin, she is swimming competitively (Junior Olympian of Summer 2018 & 2019), and can be found eating up books, writing, and designing characters for her stories.
