Julian Chen, 8, is a 4th grader at the French International School (Lycee Rochambeau). Julian has been playing piano with Dr. Anna Ouspenskaya since September 2018. In addition to playing piano, he's been studying music theory with Lora Baronian. Julian won the 1st place in NVMTA's Robert Spencer Concerto Competition (Level 1) in 2020, and the 2nd place in the NVMTA's Piano Concerto Festival in 2019. Other than music, Julian loves reading, math, coding and traveling.
