Stanley Wang is a current high school senior in California, attending The Nueva School in San Mateo while also studying classical guitar at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music under the guidance of Scott Cmiel. Starting with piano at a young age, Stanley transitioned to the classical guitar at the age of 9, and has since participated in numerous competitions and masterclasses taught by Eliot Fisk, Jérôme Mouffe, Jason Vieaux, Andrew York, and Judicaël Perroy. Stanley will be attending Northwestern University in the fall of 2020, pursuing a dual degree study of both classical guitar – in the studio of Anne Waller – and biology.
