Celina Lim
Celina Lim began playing the cello at age six and has been studying with Nancy Masaki ever since. At ages seven, eight, and eleven, she was named second place with the Hawaii Music Teachers Association. At ages 9 and 12, she won first place. From age seven, she was a part of the Hawaii Youth Symphony and grew up with the program since then. She is now a part of the highest symphony, Youth Symphony I. At age seven, she attended the Suzuki Institute program. At age eleven, she won the Madeline Schatz-Harris Concerto Competition and performed with the Kamuela Philharmonic orchestra. In the summer of 2018 and 2019, she attended the Pacific Music Institute program. In 2018, she also was a part of the All-State Orchestra. In 2017, 2018, and 2019, she has also been a part of the Punahou Chamber Music program. In 2019, she was accepted into the highest orchestra at her school, the Punahou Symphony.
