Amanda Zhu, 15, is a sophomore at Portola High School in Irvine, California. She has been playing piano since the age of five and currently studies with Dr. Judy Huang. Amanda has won numerous awards in many MTAC Festivals, such as the Baroque and Theme showcases.
In addition to her piano performance, Amanda also enjoys playing the viola. She has participated in Pacific Symphony Santiago Strings, IUSD Honor Orchestra, and is currently a member of the Orange County Youth Symphony Orchestra (OCYSO). She has performed with chamber ensembles and actively performs for homeless shelters and senior centers.
