Zsofia is a 13-year-old middle school student in New Jersey. She has studied piano with her teacher since she was six years old. Over the past two years, Zsofia has started to audition successfully and enjoyed performing multiple times in New York City’s Carnegie Hall (Weil and Zankel), Merkin Hall, as well as at the Bruno Walter Auditorium at Lincoln Center. She enjoys playing all periods of classical piano music but has been focusing primarily on the Russian composers over the past year.
This year, Zsofia started to participate in an outreach program that brings live music to the homebound and to residents in assisted living residences, and settlement houses. Besides playing the piano, Zsofia loves to practice judo, to read and to travel the world.
