Erika Liu has been playing the harp for 5 years under the guidance of Dr. Joy Yeh (harp faculty, Kwantlen University, www.joyyeh.com) and she has been active in the harp scenes in Vancouver already. First place winner of the Kiwanis Music Festival in gr.10 Classical Repertoire. She has performed at the masterclass of the renowned harpist, Alice Giles (First Place Winner of Israel International Harp Competition). Erika also played for the former harp professor from New York University, Rita Costanzi , who has commented Erika as a “musically gifted young artist with high potential.” Erika has passed her RCM gr.8 exam last summer, and is a gr.9 student at Richmond Christian School. In her spare time, she enjoys reading. Erika plays on a Salvi Minerva Harp made in Italy.
