Gyasu Bajracharya
Gyasu Bajracharya is originally from Kathmandu, Nepal, and is currently studying in Sunderman Conservatory at Gettysburg College. In addition to being a Music major, he is also a Biochemistry and Molecular Biology major. Gyasu started playing the piano in Nepal when he was 7. It was in Kathmandu where Gyasu made his debut in a solo recital.
Gyasu currently plays the piano with the Gettysburg College Wind Symphony. Till date, Gyasu has given performances abroad in remarkable concert halls such as Gewandhaus and Smetana Hall in Leipzig and Prague respectively. In the United States, Gyasu has performed at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C.
Gyasu recently won the 11th Annual Sunderman Conservatory Concerto Competition and will be performing as a soloist with the Gettysburg College Symphony Orchestra in the fall of 2019.
