Qingping Ye, age 17, is a senior at Mission San Jose High School in Fremont, CA. She began her musical journey with piano in kindergarten, and currently studies with Ms. Dorothy Su. Qingping has won 1st prizes at international competitions such as American Protégé, Great Composers Competition, and San Francisco Int’l Innovative Music Competition, and other top prizes at U.S. Open Music Competition, Fremont Symphony Young Recitalists Competition, and Bay Area Piano Competition. She will be honored to perform in Weill-Carnegie Hall, NY in June 2021.
Besides piano, Qingping's hobbies include singing, yoga, swimming, and water polo. She is also an aspiring mathematician and hopes to apply her knowledge in mathematics in other fields such as computer science and aerospace engineering.
