Haowen (Barry) Zhong is seven years old. He is a first grader at Torit Montessori School in Boston, MA. He loves music and began to learn violin with his mom at age 4.5 and now with Mr. Joshua Peckins. He started piano lessons with Ms. Yidan Guo from June 2017. In 2018, he won the 3rd place in the 16th Young Artist Piano Competition and 3rd place in the American Protégé International Competition of Romantic Music. In 2019, he won the 1st place in Crescendo International Youth Music Competition. Besides music, he loves reading, skating, drawing, math and Lego.
