Catherine Cummings began to learn piano at age four. She made her first public appearance at age five and has subsequently won top awards in highly selective competitions such as the Regional Southern California Junior Bach Festival, California Association of Professional Music Teachers (CAPMT) Sonata/Sonatina competition, and Music Teachers’ Association of California Scholarship. In 2017, Catherine was accepted into both the competitive piano and ballet programs of the prestigious Conservatoire de Lyon in France. She returned to United States with her family in 2018. In addition to piano and ballet, Catherine enjoys playing the flute, artistic drawing, and creative writing.
