Charmaine Liu, 16, started to play piano when she was 5, currently studies with Natalie Harlap at New England Conservatory. Charmaine has received numerous awards, prizes and scholarships at competitions and festivals, including Steinway Society, MMTA, YAPC, Chopin International Piano Competition, and Crescendo International competition. She has performed in Jordan Hall, Carnegie Hall, Vienna, Austria, Hong Kong and Poland. Charmaine is also dedicated to chamber music, performing locally for community, arts, media and fund-raising events. She is an active member of school chorus.
