Brandon Cai is a 11 years old 6th grader at Springhouse Middle School of Lehigh Valley Pennsylvania. He studies clarinet privately with Dr. Deborah Andrus for the past two and half years since summer of 2016. Previously, Brandon studied piano for six years and passed National Piano Guild level 7 in 2018. Brandon participated in PMEA district 10 Elementary Band and Orchestra Fest in both 5th and 6th grades. Also, in the current school year, Brandon is in Young People’s Philharmonic Wind Symphony which is for advanced young musicians in the Lehigh Valley area. Beside music, Brandon also loves math, he recently won 1st place at Lehigh Regional MathCounts competition and advanced to State competition. Brandon practices karate for the past six years at Lehigh Valley Martial Arts and earned 2nd degree black belt. At school, Brandon actively participates in many activities, he is currently the writer for school newspaper and commercial producer at TV station.
