Oscar Ho
11-year-old Oscar Ho was born in Perth Western Australia. He goes to Christ Church Grammar School and participates in several music clubs (Percussion, Yahoo choir) and School Bands. Oscar came under the tutelage of Valerie Liang. When he was 9-year-old, he got invited to perform at Royal Albert Hall in London after winning the First Plaza at Grand Prize Virtuoso international music competition. After winning gold for his performance at the Royal Albert Hall, Oscar has been invited to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York in November 2017. From the 80 performers all around the world, only 6 international pianists were selected and invited to Carnegie Hall. Also, he has been chosen as a First Prize Winner of the 2019 ""Golden Classical Music Awards"" International Competition and selected to perform at Carnegie Hall again in March 2019, New York USA.
He started learning the piano at 6-year-old and has fallen in love with the instrument and entertaining. Previously Oscar has been very successful with piano competitions, winning various sections and in the pass three year has won both international and local competition including First Prizes in Grand Prize Virtuoso international music competition, Golden Classical Music Awards"" International Competition, the North of Perth Music Festival, Fremantle Eisteddfod, Western Australia Piano Competition, South Suburban Music Society Eisteddfod and Joondalup Eisteddfod. Oscar wants to be as great composer and conductor when he grows up.
