Mykayla Liu is currently an 8th grader at Bret Harte Middle School in San Jose, California. She has been playing piano since she was 5 years old. She was the recipient for the Branch Honor and State Honor, Certificate of Merits in Piano Performance and Theory in 2019. She received 3rd place at the US International Open Music Competition, Junior Piano Young Prodigy in Feb, 2020. Mykayla takes great pride to share music with others. She also enjoys practicing TaeKwonDo, volleyball, drawing and traveling.
