MacKenzie Kim began her oboe study at the age of 10. She is the 1st prize winner of 2015 East Coast International Competition and 2015 New York Artists International Competition and performed at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall and Bruno Walter Auditorium at Lincoln Center.
She was invited to perform as part of New York Young Artists Concert Series in 2015 at Dimenna Center in New York City. In 2016, she performed as a soloist with K Radio Philharmonic Orchestra under the title “ The Night of Concerto” at Merkin Concert Hall at the Kaufman music center. In 2017, MacKenzie was selected 1st place winner in Camerata Artists International Competition and received 1st runner up prize amongst 1st place winners. Also, she is the 1st prize winner of 2017 International Grande Music Competition. MacKenzie currently attends Juilliard Pre College.
