Deniz Inel is a senior at Sage Hill School in Newport Beach, CA. She has been studying with Dr. Emily Hung since she was four years old. She has received an Honorable Mention award from the American Protege International Piano and Strings Competition and was invited to perform in Weill Hall, Carnegie Hall. She participates annually in the Certificate of Merit program sponsored by the Music Teacher Association of California. She also enjoys singing in her school choir and playing the violin. She also loves art and has had the privilege to intern at the Sakip Sabanci Art Museum in Istanbul, Turkey. She is also very involved in philanthropy as she participates in charity clubs at her school, and has worked with numerous organizations in her community such as the Orange County and Second Harvest Food Banks, YANA Cancer Comfort, National Alliance on Mental Illness, and Operation Gratitude.
