Atesh B. Camurdan is currently a junior from Trinity Episcopal School in Richmond, Va. Atesh has been learning piano and music theory with Mrs. Natalya Vornovitsky since age four, he loves classical music and is aspired to become a conductor and composer. Atesh has participated in several Richmond area piano competitions including Bach competition, Central district audition, and Bland competition and winning third places or honorable mentions several times. Atesh won honorable mention and third place in the 2013-14 as well as 2014-2015 American Protege piano competitions and performed at Carnegie hall in November 2014 and May 2015. Atesh is also a cellist and is currently a member of the Richmond Youth Symphony Orchestra. He has been selected as cellist to Va Senior Regional Orchestra in 2017 and 2018 (first chair) as well as Va All-state Orchestra in 2018 (fourth Chair). Atesh has composed a piano concerto and is working on more pieces during his spare time. In addition to music, Atesh is a year-round competitive swimmer in NOVA Aquatics in Richmond, Va, he also swims for Trinity swim team.
