Sophia Chen, from Cupertino, CA, has been learning piano since the age of six. Her current piano teacher is Lena Grozman. Her favorite composers are Bach and Mozart. Sophia has participated in various music competition in the past. Prize won include: 2nd place in US Open Music Competition piano solo showcase category in 2018, 2nd place in 2019 American Protégé International Piano and Strings Competition and 4th place in US Open Music Competition piano solo showcase category in 2019. Sophia enjoys playing piano very much and likes to work hard on it. In her spare time, Sophia also likes reading, acting and playing tennis.
