Kaeli Whitener
I am a sophomore music education major at Baker University. I was awarded Music Major of the Year by the music faculty this past spring. I also had the honor to perform at semi-finals at the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) Competition at the University of Nebraska. I am the current standing Choir President for Baker University's choir program, and I am concert master of the university orchestra. I was also the piano representative for the university my freshman year before attaining my new position as the choir president. In high school, I was the Choir Leadership Team president, and I received a score of 79/80 at State Solo and Ensemble. I also had the amazing opportunity to perform in the National Honor Choir in Grapevine, TX back in 2016. I have a great passion for music, particularly singing, and I hope to one day become a music teacher with my degree while continuing to perform at a professional level.
