Eric Chen, age 12, started playing violin when he was six and a half years old.
Eric loves chamber music and has participated the Chamber Music Encounter summer camps for 3 summers in the Webster University community music school.
Eric actively plays in several local orchestras. The orchestras he's participated include String Orchestra, Young People's Concert Orchestra in the Webster University community music school, and Metropolitan Orchestra of St Louis.
Eric was selected by the prestigious Metropolitan Orchestra of St Louis ""Share the Stand"" program to share the stand with professional musicians during 2019-2020 and 2018-2019 season. Eric is the youngest student selected by this program.
Eric is extremely grateful to his teachers Mr. Joe Kaminsky, Mr. Pavel Ilyashov, his parents, and Community Music School of Webster University for their continuous support.
