Effie Li, 13, was 4 years old when she first started learning piano and has been studying with Professor Ingrid Clarfield since the age of 9. Effie has received first place in the West Chester University Annual Pre-Collegiate Piano Competition, the Camerata Artists International Competition, and the VIVO International Music Competition. She was also awarded second place in the XI Chopin International Competition at Hartford, Ct, third place in the Piano Teachers Congress of New York Honors Program Competition, a winner of Cecilian Club, and a featured star in the Elite International Music Competition. Effie has performed at notable venues, including Kaufman Center, New Jersey Performing Arts Center, and Carnegie Hall, as well as in nursing/senior homes in order to utilize her talents towards the benefit of others.
