Tiffany Tsui


Twelve-year-old Tiffany Tsui is a seventh-grade student at the Special Music School of America, in New York City. She plays the violin and piano and studies violin with Julie Kurtzman. In 2017, she was awarded first place (Young Musicians Category) at the American Protégé International Piano and Strings Competition. She performed in the Weill Auditorium at Carnegie Hall later that year. Tiffany performs regularly on violin and piano at Merkin Hall and Steinway Hall, and she is a regular participant in the Composers and Contemporary Music Festivals at Kaufman Music Center.

Tiffany has spent 5 summers at the Cremona International Festival in northern Italy, performing in chamber groups, orchestra and as soloist. In 2017 she was awarded the prize for best sonata in the Cremona International Music Competition for piano and strings, junior division.

Tiffany also studies at the School of American Ballet. She has been cast in the Nutcracker for the past 5 years, and has danced in Sleeping Beauty, Midsummer Night’s Dream and Coppelia with New York City Ballet. Tiffany is a member of Broadway Youth Ensemble opening their current season with a benefit concert at Carnegie Hall. Tiffany walked the runway for Be Girl and Dixie Magazine during Fall 2018 NY Fashion Week. Tiffany loves puppies and enjoys reading, painting, and shopping!
