Lina Hisada


Lina Hisada(16) began studying piano at age five and is currently studying under Nobuyo Nishizaka. She has been chosen as a First Prize Winner of the 2019 International Music Competition ""Paris"" Grand Prize Virtuoso and performed in Amphitheater Philharmonie de Paris in France. And the gold prize winner in the 2019 WTPA Finland International Piano Competition.

She has received 1st Prize of Music of Europe,2nd prizes Best Beethoven Performance and Best Bach Performance of the 2019 Great Composers Competition First Prize of 2019 GLORY International Piano Competition Audience Award.

In 2019 she has been chosen as a Panel state honor of Music Teachers’ Association of California and performed in MTAC’s Annual Convention in San Jose.
She participated numerous concerts and won in various competitions, including Southwestern Youth Music Festival, CAPMT(California Association of Professional Music Teachers), MTAC(Music Teachers' Association of California), LA Young Musician International Competition, Southern California Junior Bach Festival. She has received gold medals in categories of Well Tempered Clavier Book II in 2017 ,Partitas in 2016, silver medals in keyboard concerto in 2019 and Goldberg Variations in 2018 at the Southern California Junior Bach Festival, 1st place at the US New Star Piano Competition in her age category and 2nd runner-up in 2017, 1st prizes at the MTAC Scholarship Competition in 2014 and 2016, second prize in2019 and 1st place in 2016, 2nd in 2015 and 3rd Prize in2019 in CAPMT Sonata competition. Lina has won top places in the open Baroque, Chopin , Concerto, and Classical sonata complete categories of the Southwestern Youth Music Festival. She also won the top prizes at the American Protege international and Katheryn Gawartin Chopin Competition. Lina has been chosen as winner of MTAC Contemporary Festival in the past 3 years. Lina has participated in many charity concerts and has performed in Carnegie Hall in New York three times. She has been a member of the Junior Chamber Music in 2017-2018 and has performed as honors in Thayer Hall of Colburn School. She has played in the Master Classes by Paul Roberts, Stephen Pierce, Dmitry Rachmanov , Mark Richman ,Francoise Regnat. Antoinette Perry And Christopher O’riley. Lina is a 11th grader at Arcadia High School in California. She enjoys dancing and learning abacus(in advanced level) as well.
