Hannah Jeong is 14 years old and a 9th grader at Sherwood High School in Maryland, USA. She began playing the violin at the age of six. She currently studies violin with Ms. Olga Khroulevitch. She has participated in small recitals and concerts in public and in competitions. She was a winner of a number of competitions such as YMIC 2019, Young Musicians' Inspiring Competitions, VMTA, Virginia Music Teachers' Associations, and MMTA, Maryland Music Teachers' Associations.
What she enjoys the most is playing with other musicians in an orchestra.
She was a concertmaster of 6th grade North County String Honors' Orchestra in Montgomery County, Maryland in 2018, and was a concertmaster at Rosa Park Middle School's Advanced Orchestra in Maryland, USA. She was a recipient of the Conductor's Award upon middle school graduation in 2020.
Outside of school settings, she was a winner of the American Fine Arts Festival in the Strings category in 2018. As a result, she had an opportunity to play at Bruno Walter Auditorium at New York Lincoln Center, NYC in 2018.
In her free time, Hannah loves to bake, read, and paint besides playing the violin.
