Diego is a 15 year old piano student from California who has been studying under Kai Chi Zhu for 6 years. Diego has participated in several Bay Area competitions including USOMC where he received two 2nd places, a 3rd place and a 4th place award. He was also the first-place local prize winner in The Miriam Felice piano competition. Diego has been playing piano for six years with Kai Chi Zhu. He also enjoys playing the violin and signing in choir as well as writing compositions for orchestra and chamber.
