Elia Muncey
At the age of 4, Elia Muncey discovered her love of music. She waited until her sister stopped practicing the piano and climbed onto the bench, attempting to duplicate the melody she had heard. Since that day, Elia has worked hard to obtain success doing what she has loved from such a young age. Elia was a first prize winner at both the Festival for the Creative Pianist and the Colorado Federation of Music Clubs State Competition, and won third place in the Great Composers Best of Bartok Competition. She also passed the Associated Boards of the Royal Schools of Music Grade 5 theory exam with merit and received distinction on the Grade 7 exam. Currently a sophomore in high school, Elia hopes to continue her study of music throughout high school, college, and far into the future.
