Anna is 9 years old, living in Honolulu, Hawaii. She started playing piano at the age of 6 years. Her teacher Akiko Sanai encouraged Anna to apply for competitions, from which she has received multiple awards. She also enjoys learning ballet, swimming, and aikido, a Japanese martial art.
