Scarlett Yi is 7 years old, a second grader in Newman Elementary School in Needham, MA, USA. She started learning piano with Mrs. Yidan Guo about one and half year ago. In 2017, Scarlett was awarded the 1st place in International Crescendo Piano Competition and performed in Carnegie Hall in New York City. Earlier this year, Scarlett won the 1st place in Length of Study Early Study B for her solo piece in the 16th The Young Artist Piano Competition (YAPC). She also teamed up with Ariel Wu and won the 1st place in Level One Duet in the 16th YAPC. In her spare time, she also loves dancing, drawing, swimming and soccer.
