Hey, I'm Michael! I just started my Masters in Computer Science at the University of Calgary this Fall. I've been studying piano ever since I was a kid, but haven't tried my hand at any competitions until this opportunity came up. I've also recently been trying to learn to play the guitar. As for other hobbies, I like building and painting plastic models, and also recently started playing D&D with some friends at our lab, which has made for some really wacky adventures.
