Marta Plominska
Polish flutist Marta Plominska has performed in Europe and the United States. Marta is the winner of many awards. Among her recent successes, Marta has won 1st place at the Oklahoma Flute Society Collegiate Competition, 2nd place at the Georgia Philharmonic Compeititon in Atlanta, 1st place at the International Music Competition Barletta in Italy, and 3rd place at the Emuse Music Competition in Greece. She developed her flute experience at summer music festivals in the USA, Poland, Germany, Hungary and Italy. She has worked in masterclasses with well-known flutists including Robert Dick, Pierre Yves Artaud, Anne Lindblom Harrow, Rachel Brown, Jonathan Snowden, Patricia George, Wally Hase and others.
Ms. Plominska has collaborated with many orchestras including Krakow Opera, Springer Opera House, Pan-European Philharmonia, Passionart Orchestra, Jules Collins Smith Museum and the Polish Youth Symphony Orchestra. She appeared as an actress in Martha Coolidge’s film, “Music, War and Love,” scheduled for release in 2018. During her Artist Diploma at Columbus State University she served as a Graduate Assistant for Dr. Andree Martin flute studio. Ms. Plominska is the Teaching Assistant for the flute studio at University of Nevada Las Vegas where she is currently working on her Doctor of Musical Arts degree. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in flute performance from Academy of Music in Krakow.
