Katrina Shuster is a student of classical piano under the tutelage of Darya Gabay in Northern Virginia. She attends public school where she plays the flute in advance band and is the pianist for the award winning Swanson Jazz Band.
Katrina is a prizewinner of the Cogen Concerto Competition and the Marlin Engel Solo Competition. In 2017, Katrina soloed at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts on the Millennium Stage.
Along with playing the piano, Katrina likes to design and sew custom clothing. She is an accomplished equestrian, artist and composer. In summer of 2018, Katrina was commissioned to compose original music for an independent short film.
