Vladimir Tsiper is a 13-year old violinist from Eagan, Minnesota and a 7-grader at Breck School. He has been a student of Lucinda Marvin for 7 years. Vladimir also studies composition with Sarah Miller and piano with Irina Elkina. He is also a member of Minnesota Youth Symphony and Quartet Spiritoso.
Vladimir is a recent Minnesota Sinfonia Concerto Competition winner and 2nd Prize winner of Thursday Musical Competition, two times winner of Mary West Solo Competition (2017, 2018), winner of Golden Valley Concerto Competition (2019) and MacPhail Concerto/Aria Competition (2019). Vladimir is also the 2nd place winner of the National Junior Composers Contest (NFMC) in 2019. In 2018 he received a Third Prize at the International eMuse Competition, Third Prize at the ENKOR International Music Competition and Second Prize at the Rising Talents of America competition. Vladimir is also a four times winner of the MMTA Piano Contest. Aside from music, Vladimir enjoys downhill skiing, climbing and theater. He likes traveling, particularly when he can visit the tallest buildings in the world.
