Allison Yun


Pianist Allison Yun made her Carnegie Hall debut as a winner of the American Protégé International Music Competition in the Spring of 2018. She performed as a concerto soloist with Beach Cities Orchestra in 2019 after winning the Artist of the Future concerto competition and was awarded second place in both the Finland International Piano Competition as well as the Enkor International Music Competition in 2019. She was also the first prize winner of the Great Composers International Competition and won second prize for their 2018 Artist of the Year Award. She received first prize in the 2018 MTAC Scholarship Competition and second prize at the 2018 CAPMT Contemporary Competition. She was invited to perform at Colburn School's Zipper Hall as a result of winning first prize at the Lansum International Music Competition. She has won multiple prizes at the Southwestern Youth Music Festival and was both the branch and regional winner of the Southern California Junior Bach Festival.

Allison began the piano at the age of six and currently studies with Esther Keel. She is in tenth grade at Chadwick School where she also sings alto in the Jubilee Singers group. Also passionate about classical ballet, she has studied dance since the age of three and is currently part of the Chadwick Dance Company.
